Toasty Winter Wet-Felted Mittens

The instructor for this class is Deb Tewell.

To keep chilly fingers toasty warm—this class will teach basic felting techniques. We will learn how to make dimensional, seamless felt and get pointers on some really fun surface designs. Each pair of mittens will reflect the colors and textures selected by the makers. No experience is necessary, but knowledge of how to lay out roving for wet felting is beneficial.

Student supply list: waterproof apron (optional)

Class Level: These classes will introduce you to a new skill, concept or technique and are open to all levels. The student may, however, be required to have a basic skill or have taken a certification class. For example, for a flat-pattern drafting class one need not know anything about flat-pattern drafting but should have a basic understanding of the sewing machine. Any prerequisites will be listed in the class description.
