“Communitas” (a spontaneous collective artistic action and aesthetic communion) is the second annual UCCS Visual and Performing Arts student festival.
The VAPA Arts Festival celebrates the department’s interdisciplinary spirit. The Ent Center for the Arts transforms into a lab for creativity and improvisation in the arts – music, theater, film, dance, visual art, and art history.
Visual Art presents a pop-up gallery, Film and Dance showcase the latest in cinematic treats and performance, Theater has performances each night, and Art History students are curators and docents to a variety of work featured in the festival.
Music enlivens all spaces with wandering musicians and stationary performances in the Margot Lane Studio.
