Wheel to Reel

The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Institute is proud to announce the third annual Wheel to Reel. Ride 2, 6, or 12 miles along the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail, stop at fun activity stations where you will play games to win prize drawing tickets, and finish off the night under the stars with food, friends and a film in the courtyard of the Fine Arts Center.

Registration will be along the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail on the corner of Cache La Poudre and Mesa Road (Just below the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center – 30 W. Dale Street, 80903).  Registration begins at 4:00 PM and the official start of the ride will take place at 4:30. For more details about the ride, see highlights below.

At 6:00 PM the Fine Arts Center will open for the picnic portion of our event and Buffalo Gals will have the grill going and the buffet ready to go.  Grab some dinner from the buffet or enjoy a picnic you packed from home, settle down in the courtyard of the FAC and enjoy some live music while you relax and catch up with friends.

As the sun sets (approximately 8:00 PM) the film program will begin.  A great day in the sun ends under the beautiful Colorado nights sky.
