William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody as portrayed by Gene Johnson
William Frederick Cody was one of the most significant figures in the opening and settling of the American frontier. His legacy of courage and right action still serves as an example today.
Billy Cody was a teamster at age eleven, and a Pony Express rider at fourteen. He enlisted in the Union Army toward the end of the Civil War and performed as a spy and dispatch rider accomplishing amazing feats of bravery and endurance.
