World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2016

Every year on the last Saturday in  April, the Tai Chi Association of Colorado Springs joins in on this world-wide healing event, which helps bring hope and awareness about the many amazing health and martial benefits of Tai Chi.

Annual World Tai Chi Day unfolds across the planet in hundreds of cities and 80 nations.  We invite you to come out and join us for this special event in America the Beautiful Park overlooking Pikes Peak and the Front Range.

You do NOT need to have previous Tai Chi experience to join in with us.

All ages are welcome to participate in this community event.  Come to learn, participate, experience, and enjoy (or even just to watch if you prefer).

What is World Tai Chi & Qigong Day?  

Starting in New Zealand, this healing event will spread time-zone-by-time-zone across six continents.  Gatherings and exhibitions of  Tai Chi & Qigong (Chi Gong) will be held in public places — to educate the world about the benefits of the Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises of Tai Chi & Qigong, which promote balance and connection of mind and body.

This world-wide “wave” of healing and awareness will be a spectacular site to behold
