About Us:
The YOT Club, which stands for TOY spelled backward, was founded in 1997 by a small group of young professionals in Colorado Springs and has grown into something bigger than anyone could have ever imagined. To simply state, we are an annual Holiday Benefit that enriches the lives of many youths in Southern Colorado through a very fun and elaborate evening full of Creative and Live Entertainment, Aerial Performances Door Prizes, Silent Auction, and so much more!
The YOT Club has hosted 21-holiday benefits and has collected more than 27,000 new toys and books for worthy schools, organizations and charities, as well as contributed to multiple scholarship funds. The YOT Club’s tagline, “A Voyage for Children” represents its goal of supporting area youth through community partnership.
This year’s 501c3’s include:
Early Connection’s Learning Centers – Their Mission: To provide high quality, comprehensive early care and education for ALL children. As the oldest nonprofit child care organization in Colorado, they have been delivering comprehensive, high-quality, affordable early childhood care and education to children from families of limited means in the Pikes Peak Region since 1897. They are proud to be a leader in the field and setting the standard for high quality early learning.
Southern Colorado YFC: The YOT club is a non-faith based event or affiliation, though we have found an extraordinary partnership with Southern Colorado Youth for Christ as they help the often “forgotten” youth of COS. YFC has been coming along-side youth in the juvenile justice systems and their families in El Paso County for over seventeen years. Because of their long-standing partnership with the YOT Club, they are better able to provide Holiday Gifts for local youth who will not be “home for Christmas”.
