Creative Alliance Manitou Springs (CRANE)

For years Manitou Springs has embraced and taken pride in the arts and culture that have defined the city’s 150-year history. It takes work to sustain, preserve and promote all that, which describes the Creative Alliance Manitou Springs (CRANE) and its ongoing mission. We oversee and cultivate public art across the community while supporting our creatives, heritage, celebrations and special projects. We maintain a large collection of both permanent and rotating sculptures along Manitou Avenue and in Manitou Springs’ parks, partner with the Manitou Springs Chamber to provide Manitou Made (an excellent place to purchase art and objects created in Manitou Springs), and hold community meetings on various topics related to art. CRANE also maintains Manitou Springs’ designation as a Colorado Creative District.
