Located in Colorado Springs, Poetry 719’s purpose is to foster and support the freedom of self expression in spoken and written word through community connection, education, and poetic unity.

Poetry 719 hosts the This is Colorado Springs Poetry Festival and year-round poetry events and open mics nights in the community. They were honored for poetic leadership at the 2019 Pikes Peak Arts Council Awards.
