The Twine Lab provides a space for children to build and create.
The Twine Lab strives to spark the imagination and introduce children to the world of tinkering. Kids are supported, guided, and encouraged to design, create, build, and explore with real materials and tools. This is a child-led environment designed intentionally to help children learn scientific and artistic concepts, problem solving, and build peer relationships.
The Twine Lab team, Renee and Whitney, have 18 years combined experience in elementary education. Despite a passion and commitment to the public school classroom, they wanted to create a space for children to learn by doing. They founded The Twine Lab on the belief that children need space to be creative – and their hope is that The Twine Lab will become a laboratory for the development of natural curiosity and experimentation.
When collaborating with Whitney and Renee at The Twine Lab, students will be encouraged to ask questions, experiment safely, and build belief in themselves and their abilities.
