Satya is a Sanskrit word for truth.
It is through practice that one finds the space to return to their true nature. When one listens to the whispers of the heart, it guides in the direction of joy and love. One sometimes gets lost in the distraction of expectation, fear, and doubt but when they step on the mat and return to breath, compassion, acceptance for all beings (including oneself), they allow their journey to unfold however it is supposed to as they return to their path and truth.
Satya’s instructors are passionate about sharing the teachings of yoga and helping to weave and blend philosophy, meditation, breath practices with real life experiences to help guide classes safely on and off the mat. Yoga is therapeutic and can be a sustainable, life-long practice to help support mind, body, and spirit. At Satya, particpants are encouraged to show up as they are, let themselves explore what the body is willing and able to do today and find gratitude in what is.
Satya’s mission is to bring joy and health to the body and mind, inspire and love without judgment, and create a community beyond the walls in which the studio practices.
