Tara is best known for her abstract paintings whose themes range from striving for spiritual direction and progression to hope amid despair.

She lives and works in Colorado Springs, CO. Tara has a printmaking background (printmaking was really her first love).

She finds that her printmaking sensibility sometimes finds its way into my paintings.

Tara is currently exploring the ideas of memory and history. Her work relies heavily on form, color and texture and deals with the idea of mark making and how marks we make throughout life shape who we are.
