Naomi and Styles’ mission is to bring dance, art, and passion to the community and inspire everyone to want to learn how to social partner dance. Through connection and frame, Styles and Naomi are able to dance together in sync to different styles of music and use different types of partner dancing genres such as swing, cha-cha, salsa, tango and more.

Our tactic is to listen and feel one another, as well as the music to inspire our dancing. Additionally, we work to polish more advanced levels of dips and lifts through choreography, however all of our choreography is through the same foundation of lead, follow, connection and frame.

Curbside Culture is a program that brings the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances, in appropriately social-distanced circumstances, outside of private residences, places of business, and other gathering spots. Download the program flyer.

A program of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Curbside Culture offers community members an enjoyable arts experience, and a meaningful way to support local performing artists during the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond

As a Curbside Culture host site, you will be responsible for (1) providing electricity by running an extension cord to the street or performance location, and (2) gathering a small audience to enjoy the performance (please follow current social distancing guidelines). Pricing and performance options are listed below, and all financial transactions should be conducted directly with the performer, in a mutually convenient manner.

Our performance will be four 2-3 minute number routines. Two will be choreographed, and the other two will be danced as improv. We will use audience participation to select the two random songs, so that we can demonstrate that what we do together is not pre-rehearsed, and is truly created on the fly. 

• 60 Minute Dance Performance: $200 (15-minute set will be performed 2-3 times, with breaks in between)
