Jeri Jorgensen is a Colorado Springs violinist well-known to the cultural scene. She teaches at Colorado College, is the director of the chamber music program for the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association, and is the founder of the Manitou Chamber Music Festival, which just completed its seventh season - online this year! She is devoted to the musical education of young people, and has many accomplished private students.

Before the pandemic, she toured nationally, and her recording of the complete Beethoven sonatas for violin and piano was just released on the Albany label. She likes to garden, cook, and fly-fish, but having done that for the last four months, misses playing music for people. She is using the pandemic pause to study unaccompanied violin pieces, and would love to come to your porch and play a Bach sonata or partita for you!

Launched in 2020 by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Curbside Culture brings the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances outside of private residences, businesses, cultural venues, assisted living facilities, and local gathering spots. Perfect for birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and a variety of special events, Curbside Culture offers community members an intimate and enjoyable cultural experience, and a meaningful way to help support local artists.

All Curbside Culture performing artists operate as Independent Contractors, and the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region is not responsible for their actions or the content of their performance. Curbside Culture performing artists, host sites, and audience members are encouraged to follow all State, county and local protocols for mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If the performance site becomes unsafe at any time, performing artists reserve the right to leave immediately–without any obligation to reschedule or provide a refund. By scheduling a Curbside Culture performance, you are agreeing to these terms. For questions about Curbside Culture, please contact the performing artist directly, or email info@CulturalOffice.org.
