a.k.a. ROUSE 66, Colorado's Premier Muralist, Speed Painter, 3D Street Artist and Founder of both the School of Awesomeness and The 12 Mural Project for Colorado Springs.

Graduating myself from Arizona State University in 1989, I studied fine art and sculpture with an emphasis in making sure I know how to have fun in life. Self-expression and connection to people became high priority. The "12 Mural Project", a movement to flood Colorado Springs with twelve large-scale artistic masterpieces, was part of that self-expression. The project is still alive and looking for the next wall! Four have been completed so far; The Warehouse Restaurant Building Mural located at 25 W. Cimarron St., The Corepower Yoga Studios Mural at 623 N. Nevada Ave., the backside of the Mezzanine at 20 N. Tejon and The Train Mural on the law office building of Alpern Myers Stuart LLC at 14 N. Sierra Madre St. Since 2005, I've been among the circuit of award-winning, professional street painters (i Madonnari) specializing in the ever-popular and crowd-pleasing anamorphic (or 3-D) chalk drawings. Being outdoors, traveling the country and practicing "no attachment" to my temporary artwork is a dream come true. On February 12, 2011 I reinvented myself at the American Heart Association's Heart Ball at the Broadmoor Hotel, as a Speed Painter. Speed painting is energetic and entertaining, done in minutes, with my fingers, hands or brushes, on a large spinning canvas. If you haven't seen this live yet you are in for a surprise.

My most recent baby is the School of Awesomeness, which cultivates, elevates and promotes artists in their professional careers as muralists. If you are a skilled artist and have ever wanted to be a muralist then this school is for you! Check it out at SchoolofAwesomeness.org.
