Lauren Potereiko is a visual artist who is immersed in the culture of the downtown Colorado Springs area.

Lauren's first solo show at the Heebee JeeBeeS Studio will be Friday, April 3rd from 5-9 p.m. The show will run through the end of May.

Lauren's figurative paintings evoke a sense of nostalgia. Painting on a variety of surfaces she employs innovative processes that she's developed over the last few years. During 2007/2008, Lauren has shown at venues such as the Smokebrush Gallery, Edifice Gallery and the Nocturnal Mockery Art Shows. Lauren Potereiko holds a BFA in sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute.
