I am Manitou Artist who grew up in Wildwood, Illinois and moved to Colorado to attend UNC. There I studied theater, focusing on directing and set design. My artistic career morphed into being a fiber artist and I traveled to art festivals around the country.

Currently I focus on creating festive feather masks, feather jewelry and transformational Nature photographs. I am an author having published over 25 journals and educational books about sustainability, squirrels and essential oils. My newest book about the fires and floods that happened in 2012 and 2013 will be available in September. Plus I love helping others get published.

I am inspired by the beauty of the world around me and want to share my vision of a more sustainable world in writing, art, helping others and leading by example. I love to hike, use essential oils and enjoy the amazing local talent displayed by our diverse theaters and talented musicians.

I have coordinated Commonwheel Artists Labor Day Art Festival for many years, and still in that position for the Virtual Artists Festival in 2020. In 2009, with the help of many volunteers, we made it a more sustainable Festival (80% waste-free in 2012).

I sit on the Boards for Commonwheel Artists Co-op and Manitou Springs Art Council.
