Amie Sharp’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in 2River View, Aethlon: The Journal of Sport Literature, Atticus Review (July 2013 featured poet), Badlands, the Bellevue Literary Review, Forge, the Lascaux Review (where her poem "Garden Constellations" has received a Best of the Net 2015 nomination), the New Formalist, New Plains Review, Pisgah Review, the Saint Katherine Review, and Tar River Poetry, among others. A native of Tennessee, she holds an MA in English from the University of South Florida and an MFA in poetry from Seattle Pacific University. She’s contributed to the Colorado Springs Poetry While You Wait initiative, led workshops for Poetry West, and had a poem featured as KRCC’s Poem of the Day. She’s a member of the Colorado Poets Center and serves as assistant professor of English/Creative Writing Lead at Pikes Peak Community College.
