This month’s regional First Friday event included a Virtual First Friday Challenge Grant to local organizations that support healthy Black communities: Colorado Springs Black Business Network, My Black Colorado, and Poetry 719. The first interview highlights this support of the local #BlackLivesMatter movement through an interview with and performance from Poetry 719 co-founder Ashley Cornelius.
