Trio Artists: One Night! Join us for First Friday ArtWalk and talk with three featured artists working in different mediums: (1) a furniture and cabinet designer and craftsman Brian Benham, (2) sculptor Fred Lunger, (3) painter Clifford Bailey. Learn how these artists prepare and plan to create unique designs, from conception to delivery.
Three for the price of one! Meet Brian Benham, a fine furniture craftsman who has been building home furnishing and objects since he was very young. As a kid he had no interest in watching Saturday morning cartoons but rarely missed an episode of This Old House, Norm Abram in The New Yankee Workshop, and Roy Underhill of The Woodwright’s Shop.Today, he is one of Colorado Springs top-cabinet and furniture craftspeople.
Visit with Fred Lunger, a sculptor from Parker, CO, known for his bronze miniatures and mid-sized sculpture. Fred has explored and experimented in a wide variety of art over the years and found his niche sculpting. Sculpting challenges Fred to translate an idea bubbling in his mind to a piece of art that tells a story. Creating a sculpture provides him with the ability to create an object that by nature is still but gives the perception of life and movement.
Speak with Clifford Bailey, one of Hunter-Wolff Gallery's premier painters who never fails to draw a crowd. He has been painting as a professional artist for more than 45 years and appeals to even the most discriminating taste. Clifford Bailey will be displaying a limited number of small oil paintings to fit most budgets and space limitations.
