Learn punch needle embroidery – an old technique that is enjoying a well-deserved renaissance.
Punch needle is all the rage in the fiber arts community right now, and for good reason! This stylized embroidery technique is easy, fun, fast, and relaxing.
Using a pen-type needle, you punch little loops of yarn or thread through a base fabric, creating a highly- textured pile design. Punch needle is a traditional needlework craft generally focused on Americana motifs.
This class is designed to use these techniques but pulled into a contemporary setting. Your choice of a design fits a 7" hoop with your choice of yarn.
The instructor for this class is Mary Madison.
