We invite you to see the world differently through the photographic lens of Tim Davis.
The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region is pleased to present a retrospective exhibit of the fine art photography of Colorado Springs native, Tim Davis. Davis’s vivid and textural compositions draw viewers into abstract worlds. Many are industrial or found images, of old car doors or the sides of train cars, for example, zoomed in and composed so that the image becomes something entirely original and striking. The art of seeing, therefore, is a theme throughout Davis’ body of work.
Davis has shown work in galleries in Seattle, New York City, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Cape Cod, and Mammoth Lakes, CA as well as in Denver, Boulder, Durango, and his hometown of Colorado Springs. They have been featured in magazines and appeared on book covers. His pictures have been purchased for public buildings and private collections and recently one was chosen to be in the permanent collection of the Dow Museum of Science and Art in Michigan.
Free. This is exhibit is on view during normal business hours.
