Cripple Creek Ice Festival: Carver's Choice

Cripple Creek Ice Festival: Carver's Choice

Presented by City of Cripple Creek at Cripple Creek

The Cripple Creek Ice Festival is a spectacular event. Come watch ice sculptors carve ice into beautiful works of art that will amaze you. 2020 marks the 13th year for this premiere event.

Past themes have included a Mythological Wonderland, Story Time, Under the Sea, a Military Salute Carved in Ice, a Rocky Mountain Wonderland, the Old West, and a Safari theme.

This year’s theme is going to be “Carver’s Choice”!  Carvers will be competing against each other to come up with the most exciting and impressive sculptures, and your vote counts. Visitors are allowed to vote for their favorite sculpture, once a day. The carving team with the most votes at the end of the festival will win a cash prize. Each time someone votes they are also in a drawing to win a special prize themselves.  All ballots will be part of a grand prize drawing for a Stay-N-Play weekend in Cripple Creek.
