Learn improv with Colorado Springs’ own Stick Horses in Pants in order to help your anxiety!
To ensure everyone’s health and safety, Pikes Peak Library District will cancel all public programs, in addition to meeting and study room reservations, effective Mon., March 16, through Tue., March 31.
Improv has been proven to help relieve anxiety. Through controlled exposure to certain fears in a safe, comfortable, and fun environment, students learn that failure is a normal part of life and learning.
From the beginning, we will create a judgement-free space of acceptance. Students will never be pressured to do any games or exercises that make them feel too anxious.
The focus will be on collaboration and living in the moment. Anxiety comes from a focus on a fear of what could happen. Learning to live in the present and practicing that skill helps students to let go of many of their fears.
These classes are for teens and adults.
$150 for all 5 classes.
