Nature Journaling Hike

Nature Journaling Hike

Presented by City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services at Red Rock Canyon Open Space

Join TOPS staff for a nature journaling hike at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. All skill levels are welcome as we’ll learn how to share our nature findings through drawing and writing.

We will do some fun group activities to practice making observations before taking time to create our own journal entries. TOPS staff will provide notebooks and colored pencils.

The hike will depart from the main parking lot at 3550 W High Street at 9 a.m. This activity is designed for individuals ages 12 and up. No strollers or pets.

Pre-registration is required for this event; don’t wait, there are limited spots available for this hike. Remember to dress for winter weather and be prepared for icy, muddy, and snowy trail conditions along an approximately 2 mile route.

Bring something small to sit on if you would prefer not to sit on the ground.

Admission Info

Pre-registration is required and costs $8 per person.
