Due to health concerns and risk of exposure to illnesses in group situations, the Falcon Wanderers will host a scaled back version of the 23rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Walk tomorrow, March 14. We will have minimal workers at the start/finish area, at the Modern Woodmen of America building, 2924 N. Beacon Street, in Colorado Springs. The start will still open at 8:30 A. M., and the finish time may be adjusted depending on the number of participants, and the start time of the last walker. AVA books and New Walker packets will be available for purchase, as well as club memberships/renewals and “B” Awards. We request participants to refrain from providing snacks and “green goodies” for this event. We emphasize that attendance and participation in this event is at the discretion of each individual.

Come join us for some fun, fitness, and friendship at this non-competitive walking event.

The walk begins and ends at the Modern Woodmen of America building located at 2924 N. Beacon Street in Colorado Springs.

The 5 & 10 kilometer routes will include a part of Roswell, an old railroad stop, a portion of the Rock Island railroad pathway, Monument Valley Greenway paths and trails, and historic streets.

The trails are rated 1B (easy). Strollers can complete the courses. Wheelchairs are not advised. Everyone walks at their own pace, but please plan on finishing your walk by 3 p.m.

Bring your favorite walking companion, 2-legged or 4-legged. Please, leashed pets only and no pets inside the start/finish building.  Restrooms are available at the start/finish.
