Join us for a fundraiser for the League of Women Voters in the Pikes Peak Region with refreshments, performances, and speakers.
Please join the League of Women Voters of the Pikes Peak Region (LWVPPR) for our annual fundraiser. Enjoy an evening celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment and our 100th birthday - heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and fun are on the menu.
The 2020 Centennial of League of Women Voters and the upcoming Centennial of the 19th Amendment is a rare moment to celebrate the milestones in American history that made it possible for women to finally have a voice in government.
The League of Women Voters has fought since 1920 to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education and advocacy. The League is a nonpartisan grassroots organization, working at the national, state and local levels. League of Women Voters of the Pikes Peak Region (LWVPPR) has been active since 1937.
We will have musical performances by the Front Porch Singers. Speakers include Ruth Stemler, LWVCO President & Leah Davis Witherow, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Archivist & Curator of History.
$65
