An opportunity to learn about the local food system, to increase awareness of progress, challenges and successes around food agriculture in the region and to engage with other interested citizens in the community.
Come join Peak Alliance for a Sustainable Future to learn about the Pikes Peak Region food system successes, opportunities, and challenges at its monthly Sustainability in Progress (SIP) event.
Aubrey Day, El Paso County Public Health, will provide an update on local food policy and continue the discussion about how we can make locally grown, nutritious, and tastier food more available and accessible to residents. Also Natalie Seals, CFAM Market Manager, will speak about the Colorado Farm and Art Market.
This is sure to be an informative and engaging event! Free coffee and pastries provided.
