Join us for a show with works from individuals currently incarcerated by the Colorado Department of Corrections.
This March, Cottonwood Center for the Arts is honored to display artwork created by individuals currently incarcerated by the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Featuring innovative mediums (including bar soap, flex pens, and homemade charcoal), these works combine to capture a startling depth and breadth of experience.
We invite you to engage in the complex conversation surrounding art, restorative justice, and our country’s criminal justice system.
Participating partners include the Colorado State Penitentiary, the Arrowhead, Four Mile, Territorial, Centennial, and Fremont Correctional Facilities, the Correcting Corrections Initiative, and the Denver University Prison Arts Initiative.
