Alpine Autism Center is happy to announce our 13th Annual “Run for the One” 5K in April for support of Autism Awareness month.
Every April, Alpine Autism Center holds an annual "Run for the One" 5K for the 1/59 diagnosed with autism. This event aims to raise awareness, funds and support for the individuals and families affected by autism in the Pikes Peak Region.
Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we are making this event a virtual race! Never heard of a “virtual race” before? Run or walk your own version of the race, on your own course anywhere, anytime!
This event will continue to (virtually) bring the community together for fundraising, awareness & exercise. Starting April 1st., participants are encouraged to run their own race and share the support on social media by posting a photo, their times with #AlpineStrong.
There will be many companies in the local community attending the event as sponsors and vendors to show their support. We welcome all levels to come walk, run, and help us reach our goals as we continue to advance our mission to enable those affected, to reach their full potential.
Virtual Walker: $15 (day of)
Virtual Runner: $40 (day of)
