FLIGHT is a community service initiative led by The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs to raise awareness and funding to support the Rotary Community Service Fund.
The Rotary Community Service Fund is a 501(c)3 organization created to receive and disburse funds for the good of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs and Rotary International, in general. It is organized exclusively for the charitable, educational, cultural, literary, and scientific purposes that meet the vision and mission of The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. Proceeds from Flight support a wide range of projects throughout our community and the world to include:
FLIGHT 2022 will feature Garden-sized butterflies and dragonflies and Petite butterflies again this year. Participating Artists will transform blank, aluminum alloy (the Garden-sized objects) or steel (the Petite objects) sculptures into original works of art. Each transformed sculpture will be displayed in Colorado Springs during the month of September and then become part of an auction on September 24th at the FLIGHT 2022 Butterflies and Boots Gala and Auction.
