How often have we heard ‘art imitates life’? Or as creatives been told to ‘create what we know’? It’s no wonder then that in the creative process, not only is it true that ‘we are what we create’, but also that ‘what we create we are’.

Because of ‘what we are’, authors often include real-world information in writing fiction and nonfiction. The session will address how to permissibly include real-world information in writing.
