'Magic of the Marsh'

'Magic of the Marsh'

Presented by Theatre Across Borders at Fountain Creek Nature Center

A jealous witch has stolen the Neverflower, throwing off the delicate balance of the marsh and causing magical creatures to appear.

Do you have what it takes to restore nature’s cycle of growth and decay? Outwit the troll, dance with the princess and soothe the beast of the tall grasses. Just watch out for fairies! A fun family adventure, appropriate for ages 5 and up.

El Paso County Nature Centers and Theatre Across Borders partner together to produce the county’s first-ever interactive theater hikes for families! What is a theater hike? Adhering to COVID-19 regulations, audience members, limited to a group of 10, will begin a short (under 1 mile) nature hike at a scheduled time, where groups have staggered start times. Along the way, they encounter a variety of characters unfolding an entire story. This summer’s play is called Magic of the Marsh.

Theatre Across Borders is a new organization that injects theater arts into unsuspecting spaces throughout the Pikes Peak region in order to connect, inspire, and grow together. COVID-19 gave TAB it’s first opportunity to produce live theater outside traditional theater walls.
