'Splash of Color' is a show featuring new works by Deb Prewitt.

Artist Statement:

"As an artist I am often inspired by Mother Nature – the patterns, lines, textures, colors, light – all speak to me and influence my work, and I often find a 'sense of place' in what I create. The world and my place within it, as well as memories and thoughts, can't help but be an influence.  I find that the medium I choose to use also influences the work I create. I am currently working with vibrant colors that let me express joy, happiness, celebration, love, and all things bright and wonderful. When the world around us is chaotic and struggling, I think it is important to remind ourselves that there is also joy and wonder. Color gives me that voice."
