Do your kids love to cook and bake? In this class we learn how to make a fun display piece out of a hand pie! We’ll make our own pie dough and filling, then practice our rolling, cutting and crimping! Cortney Cook from Gather Food Studio in Old Colorado City will show you several ways that you can make your pies, whether it’s a simple fork crimp for the beginning cook or a sophisticated empanada twist for the young chef. They’ll also learn how to make their own apple pie spice! Techniques will be adjusted for all age groups, so all kids are welcome. Parents are welcome to join us!
