FLIGHT is a community service initiative led by The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs to ensure children receive essential arts and science programs. FLIGHT provides a metaphor for children. ​Money raised from FLIGHT also increases the Rotary Community Service Fund, which exists to support causes for underserved residents in our community. The net revenue from FLIGHT benefits School District 11 Arts & Science programs and service projects for the entire city. Examples include: ​

• Outstanding teacher awards
• Elementary school reading programs
• Mock Trial competition
• Dental care for children
• Marion House
• Holiday meals and gifts for under-served
• Need-based and athletic scholarships

A portion of net revenue may be allocated to Rotary's Endowment Fund so that these service projects might continue well into the future. Your participation as a Partner and Sponsor can help promote a healthy cocoon for every person we help; whether it is encouraging a creative metamorphosis to a child, or teaching the unemployed how to write a resume to help secure the future.
