On the day of an equinox day and night are equal all over the planet, the Earth is in balance.

In celebration, the Smokebrush Foundation in Manitou Springs is hosting a celebration; Aquanox: Hope and Hoopla on Tuesday, September 22, the day of the Equinox with artist Kat Tudor and musician Bob Tudor. The evening will consist of yoga, live music, hooping, crystals, and Cacao.

The evening will include a sacred crystal and water ceremony, as well as a Mayan Cacao ceremony, a hot Cacao (dark chocolate) drink, with medicinal properties to help soothe and fortify the body for the season to come.
