Lindsay Lackey Virtual APPR Author Event: 'All the Impossible Things'

Part of the Pikes Peak Library District's All Pikes Peak Reads, attend a live, virtual presentation by author Lindsay Lackey! She will talk about her book, All the Impossible Things and answer questions at the end.

Lackey is a Colorado Springs native, graduating from Lewis Palmer HS in Monument. She now lives now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their spoiled dogs. Before she became an author, Lindsay trained as an opera singer, worked in children’s and teen services at a public library, and as a marketing and publicity coordinator for a major publishing house. Her bestselling middle grade novel, All the Impossible Things (Roaring Brook Press), was named a Best Book of 2019 by the New York Public Library, Denver Public Library, and Children’s Book Review, among others.

All the Impossible Things (Roaring Brook Press) is about Ruby “Red” Byrd, a 12-year-old in foster care. Struggling to control the wind powers that render her skies stormy whenever she feels stressed, Ruby arrives at the petting-zoo home of a quirky couple.
