In this unique Brazilian art form, students combine the kicks, dodges, and sweeps of martial arts with the balance and power movements of acrobatics and put it all to live music sung in Portuguese and performed on traditional instruments. Capoeira classes are like a martial arts, gymnastics, dance, language, and music class all in one!

Join Brazilian Capoeira Tuesday, November 3 at 5:30 p.m. for a free Intro to Capoeira for Youth ages 6 to 13 or November 5 at 5:30 p.m. for a free Intro to Capoeira for Kids ages 4 to 5.

In this fun 45-minute class for beginners, students will learn basic movements, simple acrobatics, and play some of the Afro-Brazilian instruments used to make capoeira's traditional music.
