“Love of the Nightingale” by Timberlake Wertenbaker reinvents the Greek myth of Tereus, Philomele, and Procne in a beautiful and heartbreaking investigation of silence and violence.
UCCS Visual and Performing Arts student Mady Pritchard has created a film adaptation of the work which will be live streamed for audiences. Run time is 1 hour and 15 minutes with a brief Q&A at the end.
