Monday February 1: Nature Invites You to Connect
Bring a journal and something to write with as we take a socially distanced walk together on the Ute and Niobrara Trail. We will observe the morning sounds, creatures, sensations, and movement that surrounds us. We will find spots to slow down, and reflect on the experience this has on our internal world in our present experience. Explore how deepening awareness of our senses brings us to greater presence with the natural environment.
Monday February 8: The Art of Walking
How often do we walk distracted, disconnected from the connection of the ground beneath our feet? Walks in nature can benefit us by calming the mind and nervous system. Mindful Walking allows us to slow down to be present with the moment, while connecting our breathe to our body, and finding gratitude. Join us for a morning of mindfulness as we walk slowly, quietly, and meditatively along the Susan G. Bretag trail at Garden of the Gods Park.
