Presented by Heller Center for Arts and Humanities at UCCS at Online/Virtual Space

As a librarian, her research interests are faculty and student publication habits, predatory publishing, and scholarly communications outreach and assessment. Outside of work, her research focuses on English and American literature.

In her talk Professor Vandagriff will be discussing Wine in Wyoming by Ernest Hemingway. Wine of Wyoming is one of Hemingway’s lesser known works, and one of the rare stories he set in the Rocky Mountain West. This talk discusses how Hemingway uses place, time, and perspective to explore his ambivalence about America and his role as a writer.
