Join the party and celebrate the Spring Equinox on March 20 for a virtual World Dance Festival featuring dance styles from around the world, sponsored by the Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts in Manitou Springs and organized by Smokebrush Artist-in-Residence, Indian Classical Dancer AuroTejas Hemsell.

Other dancers will include; Odissi East Indian Classical Dance by Anupama Saha & AuroTejas Hemsell, Ballet by Skyler Sword, Kung Fu Fan Dance by Sedona Moreno-Castelan, Spanish Flamenco by Sonia Burns, Tribal Fusion Bellydance by Adriana Jones-Rincon, Orientale & Ballet Fusion by Taka Carnes, Saudi Arabian Folk Dance Khaleeji by Khadijah Smith, Smokebrush Zumba by Tejas, Kat Tudor, Darrin Zeer, Adriana, and others, as well as Breakdance & Hip Hop by Rikki DeHart, among others.

“We’ve really missed performing live and hope to bring compelling, in-person performances back by this summer,” says Adriana, the General Manager of Smokebrush. “But for now we are proud to bring our supporters a virtual hour of Smokebrush dance.”

Donations/proceeds from A Celebration of Dance will continue to support the Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts.
