Join Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains as we explore art as a modality for social change and make some art of our own, specifically zines! A zine is a self-published book, usually reproduced via copy machine. Enjoy time with fellow activists as we make art and learn more about this art form and its history.

Before this workshop, we recommend you gather the following supplies:

• 8x11 sheets of paper
• Magazines or images for collage
• Writing utensils suchs as pens and pencils
• Art supplies like paint, colored pencils, markers, etc.
• Scissors
• Glue
• An idea for a zine!

Zines have a long history of being a mode for social change. Being able to get one's message out there can help change the cultural tide. You don't have much technical arts experience to make an impact. All you need to do is make.
