A collection of works created by the artist as an invitation to a wounded church to contemplate the stations of the cross and the experience of clerical abuse survivors through his lens of artistic interpretation.
Cottonwood is pleased to present the works of Ronald Patrick Raab, C. S. C. for the month of May.
Fr. Raab created these works as an invitation to a wounded church to contemplate the stations of the cross and the experience of clerical abuse survivors through his lens of artistic interpretation. The paintings are each designed to accompany one of the fourteen stations. Fr. Raab uses primary colors, bold textures, and a combination of methods, including finger painting, brushes, and rags to create these impactful impressionistic works.
