The Western Museum of Mining and Industry celebrates Colorado History and shows the importance of mining to our region. Come see the powerful Yellow Jacket Stamp Mill in action!
Feel the power as the entire building seems to come alive to crush ore in search of gold. Watch the 1920 Osgood Steam Shovel (made famous by the beloved children's book, "Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel") as it revs its gears and shows the tenacity of its original operators. Plus see the Blacksmith Shop in action, take a ride on a tractor-pulled hay ride and lots more.
