Join me and a group of beginners as we embark on a 3 hour journey in a world of watercolor paints! This workshop is designed for beginners and for those who have tried painting before but have not been able to achieve their desired results. Common beginner problems with watercolor include water-to-paint consistency, trouble creating distinct shapes (ending up with blobs) and creating muddy colors. In my workshop I give tips on how to avoid these common problems.

All painting supplies are provided in the class and are yours to keep so you can continue practicing at home.

Beginning with information about watercolor tools and their care, I also teach you the basics of color theory, how to mix your colors, basic watercolor techniques and finally how to paint leaves, flowers and fillers. You are free to ask me all the questions you want in class. I break down each lesson and make it easy for you to understand, as well as give LIVE demonstrations. I provide gentle critique, tips and pointers as I walk through the room and watch the students paint. The workshop ends with you painting your first floral watercolor composition!
