Our Philosophy: We believe any exposure to arts and culture awakens a person's intuitive creativity. We also think self-expression in any form when properly nurtured breaks down barriers and equips people of all ages with the ability and freedom to tap into their highest potential. This freedom also allows a person an opportunity to manifest unforeseen growth in themselves and their community.

Our Mission:

To improve youth’s capacity of self expression through self discovery and arts. COTC seeks to foster a positive image of the hip-hop culture to diverse audiences especially youth through arts, cultural education, research and positive connections.

COTC provides low to no cost programming that teaches and mentors youth in the root elements of hip- hop (urban visual arts, emcee, creative writing, and breaking). Our organization recruits qualified volunteers with professional backgrounds in hip-hop programs.
