The Commonwheel Art Festival celebrates 47 years of fine art and original music in Manitou Springs!
Commonwheel Artists Annual Labor Day Weekend Art Festival in Manitou Springs is the perfect late summer adventure for the whole family.
Mark your calendar to come visit Commonwheel’s Labor Day Weekend Art Festival. This annual celebration of original fine art and contemporary crafts will be held in Manitou Springs Memorial Park for its 47th year!
Art patrons are invited to wander among booths filled with high quality, affordable artwork. Sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers, glass artists, painters and more are coming from all over Colorado and neighboring states to share their creations with art-appreciating visitors.
Many favorite artists from past years will be there, plus some very exciting new artists. Talk with them and learn more about their work. Shop for something unique to wear, to enhance your home or to give as a perfect holiday gift.
Our music coordinator has lined up talented local musicians to perform music all three days. Art patrons often find themselves stopping to listen to one or more performance while they shop the art-filled booths. Sign up for a free chance to win a prize from a local business at the Information Booth. Kids can watch balloon creatures appear with a few twists, or create giant soap bubbles at the MAT booth.
Free parking and shuttles will be available at Fields Park at 101 El Paso Blvd. Shuttles stop at all the Metro Bus stops and several motels along Manitou Avenue. Check on the website for an updated list of artists, parking suggestions, prizes, food vendors, and music schedule.
