'Continuum'

Presented by Manitou Art Center at Manitou Art Center

Born in Minsk, Belarus in 1982 and relocated to the US in 1994, finally settling in Colorado in 1996. Growing up in Ukraine every summer, wild clay was all around. Something clicked, and I have been engaged with some form of the medium most of my life. Connected to wood firing through a series of synchronicities by friends, I've been actively learning the discipline since 2009. On the verge of a new chapter in Santa Fe, NM where my very own studio and wood kiln await to elevate my work to new heights!

This collection of works is centered on interconnection and continuity. A series of events, people, communities, and practices have coalesced for my creative trajectory to emerge and evolve. My work is an attempt to honor this wonderful web of support, and show my immense gratitude. The intense labor and profound transformative alchemy of wood firing has been my channel for solidifying the vision for the past dozen years. Nature’s aesthetic interplay of geometric and organic structure has been the gateway to source, rooted in archetype and grounded in flow state.
