An interactive class for kids aged 8 – 12 on Colorado’s local dinosaurs at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center
Colorado was home to many exciting varieties of dinosaurs millions of years ago. Learn about the different ancient lizards that walked this same land as you!
Each We Dig Dinosaurs event will focus on a different type of Colorado native dinosaur and will be both fun and educational! This month we are going to look at how dinosaurs get their names. Expect a lesson on how dinosaurs get their names that ends with each participant getting to design and create their very own dinosaur using the naming conventions scientists use to name dinosaurs today!
